We have a vision of being a radiant group of people who abound in the love of Christ, and who find our delight, joy and satisfaction in Christ, thereby bringing glory to God.
We have a vision of sharing the good news of Christ’s love with hundreds of friends and acquaintances in the Perry area, seeing many find new life through Christ as they trust Him as their Lord and Savior. We dream of significantly impacting our community of 44,000 people in the 10-mile radius around our church for the cause of the kingdom of our Lord. Our sights, however, are not limited to our local community. We desire to reach a lost and dying world with the gospel of Christ through a vibrant missions program.
We have a vision of seeing twenty new believers follow the Lord in baptism and welcoming forty new members into the fellowship of our church family each year.
We have a vision of seeing a growing number of our people commit to spiritually maturing into fully devoted servants of Christ through the faithful and relevant preaching and teaching of God’s Word, Christ-exalting and inspiring worship, Class 201 “Discovering Spiritual Maturity”, parents training their children, small group Bible studies, and one-on-one mentoring ministries.
We have a vision of being a more mobilized congregation, seeing more of our folks involved in joyful service of our Lord. We desire to do a better job at recruiting, helping our members find meaningful service, and also training them to reach their full ministry potential. We envision sending many from our church into all the world as missionaries, pastors and evangelists.
We have a vision of being a praying church, recognizing that prayer is not only the powerhouse of the church, but that it is also the means of staying close to God and drawing from His resources. We yearn for more to be involved in prayer meeting. Seeking God’s face for His wisdom and His blessings is to be an essential aspect of all we do as a church.
We have a vision of being a church where people find healing: where they are lifted out of depression, relieved from anxiety by God’s peace, freed from the bondage of addictions, healed from emotional pain, brought to financial freedom, reconciled in relationships, etc.
We have a vision of being a closer, more contagious community of believers. We desire an atmosphere where lasting friendships are built; where we get to know each other in a deeper way; and where we are loved, accepted, encouraged, and built up by one another. We envision a growing and thriving small group ministry.
We have a vision of being a church of excellence, honoring God with quality programs and ministries, and with facilities that are clean and kept up-to-date.
